Boudoir Photography FAQ
What does the day look like?
You will plan to arrive at 10:00 AM on the day of your shoot. We will jump right into hair and makeup, then try out outfits, choose your two favourites from the client closet and get to work! Typically, we finish shooting by 1 PM and then I’ll send you out to lunch for about 90 minutes while I retouch all of your photos. When you come back from lunch, that’s when we have your Viewing Session and you get to see all of your beautiful images for the first time!
What does the boudoir session include?
+ 3 polaroid images
+ Wardrobe & Styling advice
+ Two pieces of lingerie to take home
+ Expert posing and guidance throughout your shoot
+ Professional Hair & Makeup (hellooo, makeover!!)
+ Up to two-hour photoshoot
+ Professional retouching of all your final images
What if I want digitals or prints?
There is never any obligation, but all clients do fall in love with their images at their Viewing Session! If you would like to purchase any images, prints or products at that time, you will have the opportunity to do so! I also offer super flexible payment plans as well through Honeybook. I accept cash, credit cards, and e-transfer.
Drink lots of water and start using lotion.
Lower your salt intake & try to avoid alcohol if you're concerned about a little puffiness in your hands or face.
Wear lots of sunscreen and avoid spray tans as they often don't translate well on camera.
Get a mani or pedi - if you want one!
Remove any hair you want to.
Start stretching, and plan to eat a meal before you come to the studio! :)
